SwimLog Coach ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application (the "App") manages your information securely and locally.

2. Health Data Access and Collection

SwimLog Coach ("the App") is a training logger for swimming coaches, which means it processes fitness and training-related information. We are fully transparent about the data accessed by the App:

  • Health and Fitness Data: The App accesses and processes training sessions, workout times, distances, heart rates (if inputted), test results, and general athlete performance metrics.
  • Athlete Profiles: The App processes basic profiles including names, ages, and physiological performance records entered by the coach.

3. Usage of Health Data

The Health Data and Personal Information accessed by the App is utilized exclusively for the core functionality of the application. Its usage includes:

  • Tracking swimming progress and metrics over time.
  • Analyzing training session effectiveness for athletes.
  • Generating localized performance reports (PDF/Excel) at the user's explicit request.

Crucially: The App operates on a strictly offline-first, local-storage basis. None of this Health Data is ever transmitted to our servers, shared with third parties, or used for advertising or tracking purposes. All your data is kept physically and safely on your device only.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Because all Health Data and personal information is stored exclusively on your device's local encrypted storage, you possess absolute control over its lifecycle. You can instantaneously and permanently delete all your SwimLog Coach data at any time by:

  • Uninstalling the App from your device.
  • Clearing the App's data or cache within your device's system settings.

5. Permissions Requested

The App requests minimal device permissions to operate its core features:

  • Storage / File Access (Photos/Media/Files): Required strictly to generate, render, save, and export PDF and Excel performance reports directly to your device. It is not used to read other unrelated personal files.
  • Internet Access: Utilized purely to load aesthetic typography resources (via Google Fonts) and basic UI requirements. The App does not transmit any user or Health Data over the internet.

6. Third-Party Services

SwimLog Coach does not integrate with third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. The only external request made is for Google Fonts to render typography. Google may receive standard log information (such as IP address) solely to serve and cache the font files.

7. Children's Privacy

SwimLog Coach is a tool designed for swimming coaches. While coaches may input data regarding adolescent athletes, the App itself does not directly interact with or collect data from children under 13 over the network. Furthermore, since all data remains perfectly isolated on the local device and is never transmitted online, the privacy of all athletes is structurally guaranteed.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect any changes to our practices or operational requirements. We will notify you of any changes by publishing the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
